The FLDC experience is designed so you can collect content that resonates with you and take it home. When you use the FLDC Lamp during your visit to collect digital assets, you are building a custom MY FLDC website that you can explore at home. You receive a card with a unique number that is paired with your FLDC Lamp when you visit. That number is yours forever to access and explore your content online.
-
During your visit, your Lamp is paired with the unique number on your card. That number can not be reused, so if your card is lost, we can not recover your collection. However, we can provide a new card and allow you to re-collect your digital items. We recommend taking a photo of your card in case you misplace it.
-
Yes. The entrance to the building is barrier-free and all areas are accessible for most mobility devices. Where there are stairs, there are also ramps and/or elevators. If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact us directly so we can ensure we're ready for your visit when you arrive. Wheelchairs are available for use on-site only, free of charge. Availability is limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Wheelchairs may not be reserved.

The galleries are a 90 percent digital experience with projections, flat-screen monitors, and audio throughout. Some visitors may find some parts of the exhibit space too bright or too loud. We want to ensure everyone has the best experience possible, so individuals with sensory concerns should contact us in advance of their visit to discuss if the experience is right for them.
